🔒 1. Data Collection & Transmission
The Clipboard History Manager is designed with privacy as the core fundamental value. It functions as a 100% local extension.
We do not collect, monitor, store, or transmit any of your copied text, links, images, or general clipboard history to any external servers, third-party databases, or cloud services.
There are no tracking cookies, analytics modules, or third-party tracking scripts bundled with this extension.
💾 2. Local Storage & Security
All clipboard entries, custom tags, application preferences, and usage metrics are saved locally using the browser's native sandboxed storage (chrome.storage.local).
- Your database is kept encrypted and protected by the browser's security sandbox.
- We have no access to the items you copy.
- You can delete individual history entries, clear your history log, or fully reset settings anytime directly inside the extension popup.
🌐 3. Content Scripts & Permissions
To capture copying actions automatically, the extension registers lightweight content scripts on web pages. These scripts run isolated inside your browser window to capture copy events or custom copy-button clicks.
This data does not leave your local browser thread and is immediately handed over to the local extension manager database.
📤 4. Note Sharing Integrations
If you explicitly use the "Share to Notes" button to send an item to Google Keep, Notion, OneNote, or Evernote, the extension opens their official web editor inside a new tab and inserts the text. This action is manually initiated by you and governed by the privacy policy of the respective notes application.
✉️ 5. Support & Contact
